2010 is off to an interesting start for the Johnson’s. Tons of basketball, the Colts in the Superbowl, and cold, cold weather in Chicagoland. However, my writing is getting back into full swing. Have you ever been running from a gift that God has given you? Whether it is serving, singing, or sewing…whatever your gift is God wants us to run to that gift for His glory not away from it. For almost 5 months I have been running from my gift of writing. Just recently I sat down at my trusty computer and started pecking away on several new devotionals and boy oh boy has God responded. Dozens of emails have come in from readers (FCA readers who get the daily devotional in the email box) with thanks, questions, comments, and requests about how the devo helped them that day. I have been personally blown away by God’s goodness. I am trying to prayerfully respond to each one as well. People are hurting all over the world with the events that are happening and I am just trying to give them a ray of hope only found in and through Christ. Thanks for coming in and reading them as well.
One of the new features on our site is called the Chronicles of Noah. This is about the three kids I take to school each morning (Noah, Evan-my son, and Kora). They get into the most interesting conversations each morning and when one is worthy of repeating I will add it to that page. Noah, by far, is the most quotable person. Check out this section and I hope it makes your day one day better as it always does mine.
My devotional books are in stores and online now. Stores like Barnes and Nobles, Borders, and many Christian bookstores. Online at www.fcagear.com, www.christianbooks.com, and www.amazon.com.
Check out this new section called God Became Real…You can read my brief story how God changed my heart and I would love to hear yours as well.
If you have been blessed by this website, please fill out the contact form and let us know. I would love to post what people feel about the new OneDayBetter.org.
Thanks for coming to grow in Him!”
Jere Johnson

Hi Jere,
I was pleased to read this about Judd. I am proud of him!! I have been running since Coach Bullock instilled in me a love for it at Taylor!! I praise God everyday that for the most part I am injury free and able to run. I don’t take that health for granted. Tell Judd to keep up the good work!!
Best wishes to your brother and to you!
I am blessed by you Brother! Thank you for sharing your heart. Happy Birthday Luke!
Jere,
I send to you enthusiastic praise for your gift of writing.
Your perspective on what life, death and heaven is about is brilliant and heart warming. Believers and none believers need to read this message for it would plant a seed for the non believers and inspire the believers. Thank you for the Share!
Happy belated birthday to Luke.
God Bless
